Context-based Humanized and Authorized Personalization in Mobile Commerce Applications

Given the existing limitations and advantages on the mobile Internet, the preferences of users for mobile commerce content and services are noticeably affected. Context-awareness of mobile devices emphasizes the importance of personalization technology. Personalization is more and more used as a way to accelerate the delivery of information to each user, making the site convenient and attractive to return to. A promising approach to maintain different (personalized) permissions for different users is to examine personalization considerations along with adequate security and privacy mechanisms (authorized personalization). We focus on how the various customization and authorization concepts influence specific user interface design elements, namely content, presentation, connection, communication, community and commerce. Adapting an appropriate context-sensitive model for authorizations, the overall flexibility of the established personalization mechanisms is preserved without compromising the stability of the required security precautions.
